This DPS is an interview for kerrang magazine with the band A fire Inside. The main image is a medium close up of the band's front man Davey Havok, his gaze is looking straight ahead showing direct address which shows he is looking right at the reader. His pale black and white t-shirt blends in and links to the colour scheme of the article, giving it a cool and laid back feeling maybe linking to the personality of Davey Havok this is also shown by his pose,his hands loosely hanging by his side and his head tilted to the side. This links to the target audience, fans of the band A Fire Inside , teens around the age of 16 and upwards.
The colour scheme all follows the same pattern of black and white but uses pink to highlight the most important parts of the title and the stand-first. The name of the band his name and the themes of the article. This will help readers to decide weather to read or not, if the interesting parts of the article stand out to them.

The Stand-first gives additional information about the band for example an upcoming tour and the lead singer talking about his own specific style, things that will appeal to fans of the band.
The Drop capital at the top indicate the beginning of the article also using The drop capital for the name Davey.

The pull quote 'Do I ever have a casual Friday? Absolutely!' is used as the title to the article as well, this gives an insight into what the lead singer is like as a person and in his ordinary life this again is something that the fans of the band would be interested in. The bold use of font helps to show the more interesting and upbeat part of the article for the reader. Also the use of bold font on the positive and upbeat words also helps to give the article a certain upbeat feel to it. The DPS also has a single promo on it giving the name of Kerrang's website allowing for fans of the magazine to be able to access it and get the newest and up to date new in the world of music.

The page number in the bottom left corner links to the contents page making it easier for readers to find specific articles that they are interested in which is especially good for fans of the band A Fire Inside so that they don't have to sift through pages of things that aren't relevant to what they want to read about.

The many different conventions of the double page spread show different things about the band, like the personality of its lead singer and how that may affect the music the band makes, whilst also appealing to fans and potential fans.
